If you clean the magnet often, it is a good idea...Otherwise it does no good once it it "full".

I have been using M1 synthetic ATF in all my cars for about 7 years now, with absolutely zero issues (Everyone I know in this area uses the same)..
It also seems to help with smaller leaks in the system.. The only thing I can think of for a downside is: On freezing morning startups, the cars seem a little harder to steer for the first minute or so..Doesn't bother me, and it could have been the same with Pentosin---it's been so long since I used it, I really don't remember..
Stuff reeks though LOL...

That Mobil 1 stinks like a *****. Especially when you leak a quart on the ground before realizing that a metal tube coming off the back of the rack has burst.

I resealed my pump, and just 20 minutes ago tightened everything into place, filled the reservoir and happened to look under the car and see a giant growing puddle.

I could'nt see the leak, but finally shoved my hand in behind where the high pressure hose bolts in, feeling for wet spots and this tube was just floating at the drivers side. Just out of view it was open-ended and spewing.

Anyone in San Diego wanna install a rack and new tube for some loot?
