Default proper method of crankcase recirculation delete?

found out what was wrong with the car today - blown michelin man hose.

I managed to screw up the intake boot in the process, and everything is soaked in oil. I'm sick and tired of the charcoal canister deal.

whats the way of removing this and just putting on an old chevy V8 style valve cover breather?
