Question about HID headlight conversion.

Total cost......
I spent about $400 all in all for this project. which to me was worth every penny.
I bought my stuff used on ebay, but this site I posted below has it all for a very good price new.
glas replacement is easy. go to home depot or your local hardware shop and buy a sheet of lexan or Lucite plastic for replacing windows. cut to fut and mold it with a heat gun. lexan is the same stuff they use on auto headlights.

http://www.xenondepot.com/product.php?product_id=71</a

They don't care how many people you blind...
Shields or projectors are essential with HID's.
Otherwise you are blinding oncoming traffic.
The rules are written that any conversion from halogen to HID is illegal. They (DOT) get lots of complaints on OEM HIDs, bad conversions are even worse.
If you are going to do a conversion, try to do one that isn't going to blind others. Adam got his done, so can you.
If you just get Euro headlights, you will be amazed how much better you can see. You might even reconsider getting HID's, unless you really need the HID light "look".
