Rattle / Grinding noise coming from distributor. Is it the good one?

On my other Audi, a '90 ( European) 200 20V there has been a rattle/grinding sound coming from the distributor.
I change the dsitributor 2 years ago, and found that one tooth had broken on the old one. So I bought a new one. Since then, the sound never really quit and it does it more often.
I bought an original, Bosch distributor, but I now realize that it is a little different in shape of what ETKA shows.
My distributor ends directly with the gear, and ETKA shows that the axle goes over the gear...Is this a real picture of it or just some "general" shape of the distributor found in 10v's and 20v's?
Is there any special position that the distributor should go in (except for the timing)? The noise sounds like a "bumpy" axle or so, but it's almost new!!. The sound pitch goes up when the rpm's do. The Bosch PN is : b# 034 905 237 BX and it suppose to be the replacement of the standard 034 905 205 Q PN.
I have looked arond the forum and found limited info on this.
I know that there are issues about the distributor, but in my case, what could be wrong? Any clues on this one?
Thank you.

Went to the mechanic yesterday and saw the distributor.
PN is 034 905 205 Q, so is the standard one, no doubt about it.
Teeth are perfect and no signs of play anywhere. Mechanic will check for any "abnormal" things on the camshaft side...
