Default re-blackening the black

sort of off topic, but I remember the discssion here some time ago about blackening the black exterior plastic trim...I know there are various products out there, but I remember someone talking about simply using shoe polish...does that work? How long does it last?

There is a product called "Black Again" that works good. I've never heard of using shoe polish on exterior trim. I guess you could try it. I don't see it hurting anything but, I also don't see it lasting and can see it running down the side of the car when it rains. My $0.02

Default I like Wurth Rubber Care in small spraycan

I think that you may find it cheaper elsewhere, but here are some testimonials:

http://www.dccarcare.com/wurth.html</a

I've used black vinyl spray paint which is specifically made for re-coating vinyl seats.

Held up pretty well for six or more months until I sold that car.
