rear shock replacement on 86 5000s

Did this:
Remove single lower bolt, then removed the three nuts at top of wheel well. Entire spring shock, then is removed from the car.
You will need a spring compressor to take tension off top of shock assembly. Remove nut, replace shock in spring assembly, replace cap, undo spring compressor.
Upon reassembly to car, use a bottle jack to lift shock assembly high enough in the shock tower so that the three nuts can be replaced. I used a couple stacked pieces of 2X4 wood as a base to get enough heighth using the bottle jacks.
It is not a bad job unless the bottom bolt on the shock is rusted on tight. Then it becomes a job to get the bolt off. Use a high impact air zip gun is the best tool to get the bolt and nut off.
