Rear Speakers

I tried to play some music in the Audi, the front speakers were fine, but a single peep wouldn't come from any of the rear speakers. Any ideas?
I had recently opened the rear driver's side door panel. I had taken off all of the wires that were attached to the door panel to completely remove it. Would there be a problem there?
Thanks.

rear speaker wires aren't included in the wiring inside any door panel.
This may sound "too obvious"...........if you have a 5K, check the rear deck control unit (behind rear seat, in front of rear window) to make sure that the control button is switched to speaker mode, not head phone mode. Also, check the radio to make sure that the radio fade control is not set to front speakers only.
Other than that, suggest you start checking your wiring connections to the rear speakers from the radio on back.

rear deck speakers...Did the rear speakers work before you took off the panel? The only wya you would have a prob there is if the speaker leads were touching ground...I agree with the above post about checking the headphone swwitch and the fader though...Also, the rears are sometimes amplified and the fuse may be popped...

Yeah after I posted I checked the fader, and headphone switch. It was actually the fader that was the culprit. The *** was pulled out and was stuck. I pushed it back in and started working.
Thanks
Thanks
