Default Repairing leather seats in my '89 200 TQ?

Hello again!

I have a couple of small cracks in my driver's seat. Can anyone recommend a method to patch them? I haven't heard such great reviews on Liquid Leather and things like that...

Thanks
Steve

Default I've had some success with an industrial level sewing needle and nylon thread for tears... cracks...

well, I can't help you there.

Default I tried leather glue of some sort once

on a Jaguar's leather seat with a tear. The repair looked horrible -- like someone had spilled model airplane glue on it. Maybe it was my lack of skill . . .

Keep an eye out at local junkyards for an Audi with the same leather interior and grab pieces or an entire seat from it.

On a 5000 with cloth seats, I once bought a perfect passenger seat and had a local car upholstery shop fit its cover to my car's driver seat.
