Replaced fuel pump, now losing pressure
Fuel pump works wonderfully, but now am experiencing cold start difficulty. Nothing serious, but definitely takes a few crank-overs to get it started. With the old pump, it always started right up. Kind of strange I think. Any ideas?

Since this problem started after changing fuel pump, I suggest that you look there first. Perhaps the plastic fuel line in the tank got broken or the connection is leaking slightly. Also did you replace the check valve?

Pierburg...
doesn't require the external damper valve atop the Bosch unit.
I run a Pierburg too. If you have cold start problems from pressure loss, check the pressure accumulator and leaky injectors.

I'll check it out
but probably only if it gets worse. Maybe it's just my imagination or maybe the pierburg pump just is enough better that it caused my accumulator to go bad??
