Default S6 front swaybar fit a T44?

I have a chance to get a '95 S6 front swaybar, anyone know if this would fit a T44 car? - can't really tell from the pics I've found.

Why would you want a bigger front bar?

Default Agreed, stock front bar is a beefy 26mm. unless your thinking of putting that bar on the rear......

that would be a nice upgrade.

if I may ask, how much are you getting it for? I beleive new the bars are around $200.

Default Just trying to tighten up the body roll a bit

I'm looking to tighten up the handling a bit is all. I've read posts in the archives of people looking for the 4.2 V8 28mm bar, but none of the gains on installing it in a 5k.

My overall plan was to attempt to install the stock front bar in the rear as well.

BTW, I thought the stock 5K bar was 25mm, V8 was 26mm, and 4.2 V8 was 28mm?

Haven't gotten the S6 bar price yet, as I wasn't sure it would fit the 5K chassis cars

you get body roll because of soft rear suspension and no rear sway.

Default So you're saying . . .

That I'd be better off installing my new Boge Turbogas rear shocks and retrofitting a rear bar? I'm not one to disagree on spending less to better a car!

Default yeah that's pretty much what i'm saying. i'd lower it too,

they're pretty tall stock.

i'd also do a strut brace. that will make a DRAMATIC difference in the handling.

Default Thanks!! Can't lower it, but . .

I will be redoing the front suspension, subframe bushings etc. in the next few months. I use this car to haul music gear to my band's shows, so I need to keep it at the stock height. Also, it's more my luxo-cruiser than by barn-burner, I'm saving up for a second car that I can lower and tweek the crap out of.

Looks like I need to order a Bernie Brace!

Go with the V8Q bar. It should fit, and I'm pretty sure it's thicker than the S4/S6 bar
