Default A sad day

I am sitting in school and I just heard that my friend, who owns a 5000 quattro, got nailed by a falling rock on his way to school today. We live on a mountain road. It took out his windshield I guess. He is okay though.

Holy cow! That must've been quite scary. Where do you live?

Default Sounds like a fun road, minus the falling rock...

reminds me of the drive through the Rockies on Hwy1 between Calgary and Vancouver. There is a section just east of Golden BC along the Kicking Horse river, where the road is cut deep into the rock and there is constant construction going on. Some places the rock face has a net hanging over it to prevent them falling on cars. It's a scary section of the road, but if there is no traffic it's a fun drive.
