ok so I am pissed. I missed class this morning do to a no start prob. I start looking around after I finnaly get the car to start and guess what. My M.M> hose that is less than a year old is already spliting on my. gota love this hot a$$ state. So does anyone have a spare samco or can you tell em where to get one?

Jake, I don't know where to get samco hoses... but having driven Audis in the AZ sun for 8 years, I think that actually you have another issue beyond hood temps. I never have had to replace a michelin man hose. How are your motor mounts (engine may be moving relative to the fixed IC position, if your hose clamps are tight, this could tear the hose- BTDT on a customer's car back in the day '99)
