Ive done it to quite a few cars with that same problem. Know anyone thats good with a buffer?
Well if not, it usually runs around $200 to have the whole car done, and if they do it right the paint comes out better than new. The dealership I detailed for charged $189 for it. We had a sweet Snap-On buffer. Most places nowadays do a 1 step buff job which uses only one compund for taking all the levels of scratches off, then polishing. I like to go with the two step or even 3 step. A good buff job takes 2-3 hours.
I ALWAYS use the touchless car wash, in the winter. During summer I wash my own car with a wool washmit. If you have a darker colored car and you want your paint to last, use a toucheless car wash in the winter.
You would'nt beleive how many trucks I see going through the car wash with mud just caked all over them. Then the shmuck behind him in the black Mercedes goes through the car wash anyway and then wonders why his paint is all swirly....
