Default Seat memory again

Sorry guys, but the 'position seat where you like, hold down long button, push number' didn't work, every time I pushed the number it started to move to the old possie.

Any other ideas or is the above manner the correct procedure ?

Or is it shot in some way ?

1989 200 TQ

Thanks

Get a wiring diagram and verify the wiring between the "memory" button and the seat memory ECU under the driver's seat.

You probably have a broken wire at the driver's door hinge area. Or, the seat memory button is defective. Maybe you can disassemble it & clean the contact pads.

Default Make sure all the wires between the Drivers door --> and the body are good .

if they are not then it will cause some wonky problems./
