Smoked tail lights
I got a set of smoked tail lights from Paul Fernandes on my 200q that i have installed about 3 years ago,the look and work great.Never had any problem about them from law enforcement.
Yesterday i got pulled over by Sheriff who gave me a written warning(code 1221 violation) saying that i need to remove them since they are not stock and,according to him don't light up enough or some cr..
Also gave me warning for having clear plastic cover over rear licence plate for not being see thru enough to read it from 50 FT.
On top of that warning for fog lights that have blue lens but produce bright white light and not blue light.
I don't have much problem with removing plastic cover and fog lights but tail lights,that really pissed me off.
Tried to find information on 1221 code violation on VT DMV but there is no description of codes,just a list of codes.
Has anyone had this kind of problem before?

I have had issues with my front limo tint in CA...thank goodness my bro is PD! $25.00 and all said and done.
