It tries to, but won't.
Has spark and is getting fuel into the cylinders. I think I got some bad gas maybe? The A6Aq had some problems, which was filled up at the same station.
Currently borrowing my Uncle's spare van. 1986? Caravan, "woodie". Woot.

it was driving good 1 day then the next day it wanted to start but it would not.
Check:
1). Intercooler hose ( Michlen man hose)
2). the black rubber hoses on top of the head.
3). ISV valve.
These what were wrong with mine.
A $200 fix also.

For some reason like 2 weeks ago my car decided just to not start! Had fuel, had spark, didnt fire !!! Needed to use a car to jump it, then thought to use starting fluid, sprayed a lot upwards behind the airfilter and it started right up! Noo idea what that was about

We did try starter fluid (aerosol spray). Didn't do much but help flood the enging. I think the spark is a big weak. Going to try and get NGK's locally because hardly anyone carries the W7DTC. Would also like to change the wires, I saw some knicks and such in the casing. New rotor and an actual new cap (vs used) wouldn't hurt either. My roommate had a fuel filter for his A4tq (same filter, his car was totaled by a Z71), so I'll pop that in there later today.

Such as the spark plug wire connections, inside of cap, rotor,, etc pull the plugs out (also rag them) and crank the engine for a while to clear fuel out.

for checking wires.....
get a spray bottle, pop the hood at night and spray down the ignition wires. Try cranking while watching for sparks! And try changing out the wire that goes from the coil to the cap. It fires 5 times more than the rest. I'd think it's more prone to failure as a result.
