Default So much for adapting the 10v tranny...

So I finally dove into the tranny swap in my 91 200Q and everything was going great(i mean abnormally good, so good i even proclaimed "hey this is really not that hard...man think of all the money i am saving on labor doing it myself...")...well that was until i got to putting the 4.11 front diff into the 3.889 tranny...then it kinda took a ride off a cliff. Long story short...turns out the 3.889 pinion binds with the 4.11 diff, which makes for locked transmission. Then i thought to myself "hey lets just take the 2 transmissions to a transmission shop and have them take the pinion out of my 4.11 tranny and we're golden...mabey 350bucks tops."
Nope, try $600 plus parts(roughly $400, new seals bearings etc.) Needless to say i was a bit shocked by this, and decided to hell with it im just going to buy a tranny that actually came out of a 20v, which unfortunately will cost another $1k after all is said and done(damn shipping cross-country)...oh well so much for saving money. But lots of lessons learned for the future. Now i have an extra 4.11 front diff and an AUM code tranny with no need...anyone want these(i want to make back the $400 i spent on the AUM off of these)?
