Default Source for Hella E-code H4 rectangle lamp housings?

A semi was nice enough to through a big rock at my headlights the other day. It broke a 2-3" hole in my drivers side light. The bulb was working for a day or so and then the rain came and I think it burnt out when it got wet. I have the 4 rectangle light setup from a 5000 on my 200 w/ H1/H4's. Figured someone on here might know of a source. I have checked out www.rallylights.com but I kinda want to do a price comparison before I buy.

Default I am a little confused.....??

Are you searching for a Hella E-code H4 rectangle lamp housings, or drivers side light? Or maybe it is all one single unit?

If separate, I think the rectangular lamp housing is generic for the quad four seal beams. Any car in a wrecking yard with quad lighting should be a source for the housing.

If looking for a drivers side light, only ones from an '84 or '85 5K will fit.

I'm looking for E-code hellas, don't have a good chance of finding them in a junk yard here. The ammount of light they put out and the crisp beam cutoff is unbelievable. I don't want to put some crappy DOT lamp on there. Plus, the wiring was changed out and relayed for the euro lights and higher wattage bulbs.

Default When you did the 4 square light swap on the 200....

what was involved?

Did you have to cut the grille? Or any other parts?

Which parts from the 85 5kt were needed aside from housings and trim?

I'm thinking of doing it to mine too, since the DOT lights are useless, especially when it's dark out.

Wiring/relays are not a problem.

Thanks.

And for your square e-codes, finding a single might be hard, but a pair should run you about a hundred bux. I bought my round ones at a local europarts distributor, and they were available at most any parts shop.
