Took the sunroof out, thanks to ORFSADOY for great help in telling me which screws to remove.
Ok, I give up..This turned into much more work than I had hoped for...
How on earth can I get access to the parts that need a new headliner?

Hello,
Looked at this again today, but cannot seem to find out how to remove the trim with the headliner on it. The middle part (Where the headliner is completely gone), I can possibly bend out, but I am sure something is going to break.
If anybody knows how to do this, I really appreciate it.
regards
Boerge

I've meaning to pull apart my spare sunroof assembly as I need to my headliner too. The bentley manual will probably help in this matter. You can download the V8 manual from this thread it will have the same info on the sunroof. http://www.motorgeek.com/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=37944

Hello,
Thanks to ORFSADOY again for the Bentley. It helped me understand the sunroof parts.
It was much simpler than I expected, so yes a little embarrassing...
ANyway, the sunroof is out as shown on earlier pics.
Pull off the two springs that are attached to the tilted part of the sunroof.
I used an o-ring tool, that worked well. This is where the Bentley mentions the wire hook.
Then with some force, the headliner panel on the sunroof can be slid back and pulled out. You are now free to do a new round of your favourite activity so far, which is red sticky glue cleaning.
As you can see in the second pic, I have pulled off the "brown/orange" panel from the hinged flapper panel. It was already loose, so I decided to take it off to put on new cloth, then I will glue it back to the hinged flapper. (The one with 4 oval holes in it)
I will now go back to update the headliner thread, I feel much better now after this was solved.
Thanks for all help so far!
