Was their ever a 5spd FWD manual tranny mated to a 20vt, or just the 10vt.

I think there might have been a one off FWD 20vt that someone posted around here a while ago.
I believe it was a 4spd auto though. But I think it was some sort of special order or something like that. But a 10v and 20v will both bolt to 016 FWD tranny. I don't know what kind of tranny you have in the cab, but you could try asking on motorgeek. Is your cab a 5spd or an auto?

Not if the tranny was rebuilt and beefed up a little, plus I am only shooting for 300 crank HP
But the question still remains, can you connect a FWD transmission to a 20vt.
