Thinking about making an exhaust or buying CAC, V8
I can make an exhaust but I never have before. I want a nice sound though not loud cruising around. What do you guys have and suggest? How much did it cost?
I while ago I estimated it would be like $700 for a Custom Auto Craft exhaust. is this right? How is it?
I dont want to buy a stebro cuz it its like $500000

on my 5000, I did a 3 in cat and cat back (ordered highflow racing cat and muff from summit)
for maybe 150, and then the shop charged me 500 for the pipe and all the work. I recently spent another 130 to have a second resonator put in....
If I had to do it again, I would most certainly do it differently, but i am happy w/ what I got. Now 3 in is WAY too much for a v8 imo, and the CAC one is great in every way that I can see, cept that it has to come from europe

I want to try making an exhaust.
I bought a cheap harbor frieght flux welder but not sure if it might be too powerful to weld exhaust tubing.
I'd like to do a new downpipe to a single 3" with a new cat and subtle exhaust note with no drone.
Alas, I'm afraid the cost of all the pre-bent pipes from 034 would probably be close to buying the CAC exhaust.
Does anyone know why the 034 downpipe is $400?
