Default Throttle snaps open when i switch gears. tps?
so i experianced my car wanting to redline everytime i put my foot on the clutch could that be a messed up connection in the wot part of the switch or is my car just a peice of junk

Default Is your throttle cable original?
If it is, it may be sticking.

Is this the first time it has happened?

well the cable and linkage stays put but the motor redlines as soon as its started

Check that your cruise control rod is still intact and not binding somewhere

So is the throttle open? If so figure out why... the cruise rod is a common culprit.
