I have had very good results with Pirelli P6000 Super Touring, and Michelin MXV4 Energy's.
Both are under $100 on sale, and both are quiet, have good rain grip, and last over 30K miles.
They aren't performance tires, but are smooth and quiet on the highway.
Try Tire Rack, or NTB for the best prices and service.
Good Luck!

I just checked, and Tire Rack does not list the HTRZii in a 205/60-15 size. In fact, not many tires that are really a good performance tire come in that size.
What if you ran a 205/55-15? Then you can run a Kumho Ecsta Supra 712, $67/tire plus shipping. Its similar to the HTRZii's...

They are both 205 60 15 H rated Cooper Cobra GTHs.
Very quiet, very aggressive tread, very little flex for great cornering and have 35K on my 200 with over half the tread left. @75 mounted and balanced.
Great for the snow in Minnesota like you said crotext.

What did you pay for them? Are they expensive?
Also, i couldn't find an Online dealer. Hopefully the local Cooper dealer won;t charge me an arm and a leg.

Great info and lots of "reviews" in your post.
Boy, is this a hard choice or what. I really can't decide what to pick.
Your Sumitomo HTR 200's seem like the best deal especially when i look at the money side of the question. However, i read a few reviews that say that these tires have SOFT side walls and cornering may/is be bad!?!
Type44s are heavy cars, we all know that, so i wonder how those so called "soft sidewalls" will perform at corners. What's your experience with cornering and curves, you have almost the same car?
This is my ONLY concern about the Sumitomos, snow is no issue here in CA.

.. get the Falken Azenis. They're nearly a race tire and they're not that expensive.
If you want something that lasts a bit longer, try the Kumho Ecsta 712. These are very high performance street tires for a good price.
If you want to spend lots of money, get the Potenza S-03. They're good, but no better than the other two mentioned above, and much more expensive.
You could do autoX or even lapping days on any of the above street tires. They'll be fast, although not as fast as real R comp tires.
If you want to really cheap out, buy my used all-seasons tires (4). Two are BFG Touring TA and two are Toyo Proxes Touring. 205/60/15. About 70% tread left. They came from a wrecked 1994 Audi 100. Price: $200 Canadian. Cheap cheap!
PS thats about $125 in real money. Plus delivery/shipping costs from Vancouver BC. I could drive to Blaine, WA to ship in order to avoid duty. But that would involve $25 extra delivery charge for my gas/time.
