Default Tires - Traction T/A

I don't really know much about tires, but had a set of BF Goodrich touring tires on - they seemed fine, but then both front tires seperated....so they replaced them, but I guess BFGoodrich discontinued alot of thier lines and so the tire guys put on thier new tires called Traction T/A.

Now, maybe it is my imagination, but these new ones seem kind of "squishy" (yes, the tire pressure is correct) - anyone have experience with these or have any comments?

Default I just put a set on my V8

My last tires were really bad so I have only noticed an improvement. For city driving and getting the most out of my quattro, I'm satisfied. Plus I think I got them for around $500 at Costco.
My other V8 will soon get Michelins.
