trouble with fused wiring circuit........
it's circuit number 3 or 4 in the fuse box, the one that controls the radio, cig lighter, clock, and inside cabin lighting. I have an open circuit, fuse is good, but nothing on that circuit works at the moment. Every now and then, the circuit will come back on its own, and work okay for a few days, then without warning, everything goes out dead on that circuit. Any thoughts where to trouble shoot first. In the past, a few times, the fuse has blown, and replacing it fixes things for a while, but not now. Gets annoying driving the car with no radio.

No, after market Pioneer radio has been in the car for about 3 years.......
I think the first place that I will look is at the under side of the fuse block. Prolly nose around with a multimeter is my best bet to find a short. Thanks for the thought.

No prob. I found that I had some loose center console lighting wires...
and the radio was grounding them out causing a similar condition to what you're describing.
Damn, I hate intermittent electrical issues. Good luck!

No how you feel, electrical problems can drive you nuts........
I will take your advise and check out the radio wiring. The PO really sliced and diced the factory wiring to install an after market radio. My problem could easily be in that wiring. Thanks!
