spintechs look promising, but i dont know of any on a turbo application...
... i know flowmasters, and a couple other chambered mufflers suck on turbo cars (goes back to the resonant frequencies/flow rates thing that is over my head)...
i had one for a short time on a porsche 944 turbo. sounded OK-ish. dyno'd it with, then without, then with an ultra-flo. it was tuned about as well as it was getting, then removing the flowmaster netted an 8hp gain. addition of the ultra-flo had no reduction. further tuning got an extra few hp out of it.
that's my only personal experience with chambered mufflers on turbo cars, but it's reasonably well agreed upon in many circles that chambered + turbo isn't so hot.

Hmm. I don't have the luxury of dyno testing my car, but that is interesting, thanks. I do like the flowmaster sound, and that is more what I am concerned with. Of course, a straight-through muffler will flow more than a chambered/baffled muffler.

had stand-alone on my last dyno'd car, so the dyno was a (expensive) must...
as far as sound goes:
i kinda like the sound of flowmasters on a large displacement V8.
didn't actually like it much on the porsche 944 turbo... sounded kinda "broken".
i've heard them on a couple volvo turbos, too, and again didn't care for the sound (but not much makes them sound good, anyway).
have yet to hear an audi with a chambered muffler.
i've been going with magnaflow or ultra-flo mufflers for a while, and usually pleased with the performance and sound... plus they can usually be had for a reasonable price. do kinda want to try something different on my volvo turbo, though...

Interesting info...
The Spintechs are fairly inexpensive, so it might be a good experiment. I thought I remembered someone on here mentioning that Saab turbo folks were big Spintech fans... Could be wrong, though.
Not planning anything major until the weather warms up, but will post results if I decide to take a chance with this setup.
