Last year it was the O2 sensor, and while I was at it changed the plugs too.
This year I got different results, CO, O2 are all normal at both idle and 2500 rpm, but HC:
Idle - 279 (Max is 220)
2500 RPM - 139 (Max is 220)
I was planning on changing plugs and air filter again, maybe run some fuel sys cleaner through it. Anyone have other suggestions? I only have one free retest.
Thanks

Was looking for dist caps and rotors...the Beck/Arnley cap seems like it works as both the left or right side, whereas the bosch specifically have one for the left and one for the right. Does the beck/arnley really work for both sides?

The caps themselves are physically the same, the covers are different side to side., as long as you re-use the covers you have (which have nothing to do with how it works) the B/A parts shoudl be just fine.
There are also two rotor a slip fit (glued on and will require some work to get off the shaft) and screw fit. You should find out which you have before you order (sorry for the PITA job).

have you checked your cats? a good way to check them is to hit them with your fist and check theyre operating tempeture. if you hear crap rattleing around and its not other parts of the exhaust rattling they are bad. Cats are supposed to be a life time part so if they are damaged your car may be running too rich or you could be getting oil in the combustion chambers from bad rings or anything eles that would cause oil or other contaminates to leak into the cylinders.
i was failing HCs miserably and after changing caps plugs o2 and everything eles pretaining to ignition and no dice!
Got the cats changed and viola! Unfortantly I couldn't afford stock oem cats as they were 300 a peice so i got magnaflows installed for 300 for the both plus labor, it BARELY passed but it did pass.
also unfortantly as well unless its been already modified or you have to have a cutter and a welder or you will have to take it in to have it done as the cats are welded.
go with the cheaper fixes first but if that doesn't work then yeah start saving up.
