another day, another issue solved... my factory alarm is working 95% now... ill post about the 'final' problem if i cant figure it out on my own...

but what i was curious about now was how to remove the drivers side sun visor. i have a parts v8 that i would like to transplant the drivers side sun visor from. the one in the running v8 is in VERY bad shape

but im having trouble removing the plastic 'cover' that sits on top of the 'hinge'. i dont wanna force it off as im sure theres a proper way to do this.

any ideas?

btw, by hinge i mean the part of the visor that actually holds it to the roof. etka diagrams show a couple of screws under the small pastic cover. i need to know how to properly remove this plastic cover.
