Default Valve cover gasket

Anyone know how to change the valve cover gasket on a 1990 audi 100. The air intake manfoild is directly over it and i was just wondering if there was anyway to take off the gasket without taking off the upper part of the manifold. The upper part of the manifold has been taken off a few times and now the bolts are rounded. (It wasnt taken off by me, I just got the car a few months ago). Thanks

Default its too much trouble to try to work around it i've found out when pulling the NF motor...

take off those bolts .. replace them and than you can get to the valve cover gasket easier and not have to deal with stripped bolts anymore.

Default Re:rounded bolts...

Rounded bolts are easy remove by hammering in slightly larger external torx socket.
