Valve Cover plug wire holders
Any idea how these come off? Need to be removed for powder coating. I plan on buying new replacements (at $13/ea, can't pass up that deal).
Are they glued on or just stuck in?

No. 9 is the V8 plug wire retainer, #10 is the cover.

In the next image, #10 is the 10valve I5 plug wire tube, while #s 15 & 16 are the 20valve version that go, respectively, at the back of the engine and under the wire cover.

Re: The plug wire holds ON THE VALVE COVER...
Must be a common failure. Neither valve cover on the V8 I've done the TB on had those.
Ron, of course, would have 'em, eh????
