Yea I agree.. just watch your oil temp.. other problems arise from high temp oil.

Default Like I said many times before... I have 3 spare motors at my disposal...

My mission is to remove the wrist pins the easy way and then see where the failure mode is.

I'm using the O2 sensor for A/F readings with my own meter design. Seems to be fairly accurate for determining how rich the mixture is.

I'm hoping to get a single pass IC and 930 BPV installed Thursday of this week.

As for the K26 heat pump... yes, I know they run out of breath at about 18 psi, or at least that is what I've been told. And yes, you are right. Just because I can hit 25 psi doesn't mean it is going to last terribly long. But hey, it is fun as heck to see!!!! Especially after so much time and effort. The fine tuning is yet to come.

Since I was running nice and rich and making great power with the CIS simply shimmed up to accomodate 1.95 bar it follows that the additional injector is supposed to be good for another 4 psi (0.275 bar)or so. That places the full power fuel boost level up to 2.225 bar (17.778 psi - interesting how that matches the purported 18 psi capability of the k26) at which point it will begin to lean out and away from the maximum power A/F mixture down towards the lean end. So yes, for longevity I'll be backing off the boost somewhat... until I add another one of those injectors or two!!!!

Found a nice thick shim at the auto wrecker. Stuck it on there and bolted it back in.

Search through my postings and you'll find it.<ul><li><a href="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/67435/pb010042.jpg">plunger</a></li></ul>

Default agreed, it's fun!

i've accidently seen 25+ out of mine before....

on the NB 02, just some advice, everyone i've known who has tuned their car by this alone has been way off. except myke maybe....but he's special! ;-P

plenty of people have documented gaining performance from going to a wideband 02 and getting their actual a/f ratio.
