What part is this coolant spilling out of?

It's sitting on top of a black box directly to the left of the coolant resevoir tank and it looks like two round discs with a connector in the middle. On the left and front sides it has two hoses coming out and it was spewing out huge amounts of coolant today.
Does anybody know what piece this is and more importantly how much it will cost to repair? Thank you.

The part is called the afterrun coolant pump, it circulates coolant through the turbo and keeps it from frying/coking/doing bad things to the oil inside the turbo.
The good news is that it can be bypassed with a T fitting included with a Prestone Flush and Fill kit found at the local chain auto parts store.
The bad news is: replacement costs about $120. Call Rod at thepartsconnection.com and see what his price is.
Oh, and don't bypass the pump of too long, you don't want to kill your turbo.

I'm finally going to bail out of the car. This car is financially killing me and I just can't afford it anymore.
What will be next after that? I'm just waiting for the driveshaft to start thumping.
I swear whenever I feel proud or happy about owning this car it's like the car picks up on that and decides to treat me like ****. I don't have the money to be putting out EVERY MONTH for repairs.
Even after fixing the afterrun pump I'll still need to fix the bomb, radiator fan relay, power windows, power mirrors, the annoying rattle somewhere in my engine compartment, the cruise control, plus TONS of other little things that are broken. I've still got a minor coolant leak and that's on the passenger side of the car. It's not worth the trouble this is doing to my health by owning this car.
This car originally cost me $1500 back in march and now I am over $4000 into it. Well no more for me. It ends here.
Thank you for your help but I just don't have the patience to deal with audis. I'm out.

Or maybe an aftermarket electric water pump made for racers that don't want to run a water pump. I am much in favor of modifications that replace known failure points, like the Michelen Man hose. Why not two flexible couplings and a metal pipe?
