what wire is this?
ok i just found a loose wire (red with blue stripe) it comes out of the loom with the windsheild wiper pump wires
my car is an 88 5KT if anyone could check for this wire, and what it is supposed to go to i would appreciate it

I just checked..........
there is a blue wire that comes out of the same loom as the washer pump wires and goes to a connecter right above the coil. It is the only blue/red wire I can find so I assume it's the same one? I have an 88 5kTQ. I would think it is important, if were talking about the same wire. Hope that helps buddy
