Not the R-32 or any special editions not even the latest model. Just a run of the mill GTI late model? Didn't think I'd win but didn't think I'd loose so badly either. He walked me like I was standing still. Only thing that makes that car undesireable to me is the FWD (or any car with FWD) and I have to turn all four wheels but I'd buy a straight RWD platform before FWD. I also know that he has about 3/4 the weight and size that I do...but this was an embarassment. The way he took off he had to modded as I think he would have given my V-8 S-4 trouble. Trouble is he looked stock

Default It probably wasn't run of the mill and....

..your 200q20v isn't really a drag queen. I think 15.7 is 1/4 mile time stock. I assume a stock GTI is that at worst, a chip and it's low 15's. Now, get the same cars side by side at 55 mph, drop yours into 3rd and he doesn't have a chance!

Default Run o' the mill GTI is 6.8 to 60...

You gotta really cook the clutch to get a quattro moving cleanly from a stop. If he had mods you don't stand much of a chance.

Default same here i will only drive AWD but would 2nd be followed by getting a RWD car

I had a platinum limited edition mint 1996 volvo 850 turbo. Freakin sweet ride but it was FWD and had to much power to be a FWD car it left and jerked around but it was so fast and as volvo does had the most comfortable seats of any car.

3300 lbs for a new one. Not exactly a featherweight anymore.
