Wheel hop on bumps/sharp turns

Wheel hop on bumps/sharp turns
Whenever I make a really sharp turn or when I am driving and it a bump in the road I get noticable wheel hop. '86 5kt fwd. What would be causing this?

Front struts... at first guess
It sounds as though the struts are not keeping the wheels to the ground. Push down hard and release quick on the front of the car, if it bounces around a bit your struts are bad. It should return to normal stance almost immediatly after release, sometimes hard to tell.
