i need one of dem antenna mast things. Just the mast alone on ebay is like 30 bux... shoot. it works fun when the stick doesnt go up.. i just think its cool when it actually works.

If its power, Ive replaced 2 of them, one in my 4k, and one in my 4kq. Its an aftermarket one, but it lets me use the stock mounting thingie on the outside of the car, which makes it still look stock. The whole unit was maybe 30 bucks and a couple hours of my time. The antenna that came out of my 4kq was from a 200/80 model, dont know why, but it says on the outside.
If its not a power antenna you want, forget what Ive said

I can vouch for his "el-cheapo" route to getting a working antenna. Looks factory! I'll be doing that to my parents (my old) '87 5kq.
