We have a '85 5000S(190K +) and '91 100(115K), both FWD and Autos(both dailey drivers). These machines are loving the cold weather with well over 12" of new snow and more on the way (2-6")! The temps are 2-24F with strong winds from our friends up north which makes the snow very hard packed. I have to say that shoveling snow is hard with 20-40 MPH winds and is NOT my favorite pastime! Remember these are only FWD/Autos, but do well in the upper plains, for we do not have to deal with moutains. I can only envey you folks that have TQ'S in this weather, but for now I am enjoying Superior Audi engineering! This is what Audi & Quattro is all about. I do have to say my wife drives a 2002 A6Q, so she enjoys the ability to go where only 4WD's venture! I still have my Suburban parked, for these cars have not given me any reason to pull it out yet.

hehe, i pray for it to snow when im driving my 5000. i just bought dunlop winter sport m3s about a month ago and they work quite well with the lockers, its fun going 85 mph past everyone on the interstate while they are all going 50 or slower.
