Having a problem w/ 91 200 w/s wipers - they 'park' about 45 degrees instead of at bottom of w/s. The travel is correct when they are running, they just return to the middle of the windshield when turned off. any ideas?
thanks

I think there is a fuse just for the park. has to be since motor still runs even after youv'e swtitched off the power with swtich.. Motor continues through another powered circuit until parked. Check all fuses. Check fuse listing and location.

Hmm, mine do the same thing. I pulled the intermittant relay and it didn't help. Research has shown that there is an internal part that fails thus never triggering the park feature. Replacement of the wiper assy is the standard solution.
For the last 6mos I've been forcing the park with the wipe-once feature and timing the swipe. Annoying...

The wiper motor assembly contains an electrical contact 'wheel' which spins along with the shaft.
The contacts allow the motor to cycle once to return to PARK at which point, the contact is broken.
This wheel is no longer in alignment, it's worn out and spins erratically.
I also have the same problem and pulled the intermittent wiper relay in order to manually park the arms.
