Default You guys were right..

Thats right i said it...it was a huge vac leak 2 accually, i must of looked at them 50 times the only ones i dident replace.

One problem though i fixed that small vac line right under the mm hose on the throttle body, started the car and bingo 1500 rpm seems like a great idle speed, so i screwed in the idle screw. seemed good at the time idle about 900 but when it warmed up the idle is traveling a little up and down. any lower idle and she wants to die.
Boost seems greatly improved as well as throttle response, ready for mods!!
Any insight into Idle?
How can a car with 119000 Have so many probs..

Default Always look for the easy fixes first...

Because that's usually what it is.

Check your idle/full throttle switch. SJM has the procedure.

Your car may only have 119k, but is 18 years old. Rubber turns to mush, electrical connections corrode, things wear out. Provided proper repairs are made it will go twice again (mileage)what it already has on it!

As already stated, is idle/WOT switch working correctly. Common problem on these cars. Is the crankcase breather system working, no leaks. Have seen the rubber "t's" on valve cover split and or breather tube by block disentegrate.. Clean the idle stabilization valve too!

Know you've posted quite a bit, but can't remember...have you run the codes?

Car have the proper plugs?

I would say you're NOT ready for mods until it's completly sorted out, to include idle issue! Not to rain on your parade, but any problems now will be worse, or could cause more issues once boost is increased. Don't just look at vacuum lines, replace them. BTDT more than once!
