and see what is going on. It goes down fine, but on the way up there is a strong clicking-and obvious resistance-every 3-4" of travel. Worst case it's the regulator. Hopefully some clip has busted.

I also found a reasonable place near me to do the install ... he specializes in electronics and power windows not AUDI's and foreign cars so his prices are right ... wont know the final til its installed.

The measurements will be off if the car has been hit and not properly repaired, so if you have been in an accident this may be whats causing the misalignment. Cab frames unfortunately are not very well constructed rigidity and strength wise, they have excellent flex but its a little much.
Take a look at your door hinges and move the door back and forth slowly, say about 6 inches, this will check the hinge.

and it would shake car pretty bad. I would have to drop all the windows to keep them from slamming against each other. I will have to play with the alignment on the doors, then the windows. There is quite a bit of wind noise and water that comes through.
