my car decided to die only one hot days. i got a new pump,filter,F.P.R. and the fuel pump relay. still dieing. runs 100% fine when cold or at night. I took it to the audi dealerhip they cant find anything wrong. by the time they look at it it cools off and runs fine. another place said it was the fuel dist. changed that out and nothing? audi did say that they cant pull codes from the computer? could this be the problem? computer bad only when it is hot? also what about the fuel Accumulator. could that be a problem?

well in typical computer/processor fashion
sure things can go weird if a computer gets hot. Eletronics are not perfect and the heat produced by them and around can be damaging to it.

Fuel accumulator is there to maintain pressure while the car is off...
does nothing while it is running - other than help maintain a more steady pressure, which isn't really necessary if the fuel pump is working well.
