Default 034Motorsport density mounts are in! Motor, tranny, and upper struts, oh my!

Hey guys, we're very excited to have these ready for our cars now too. We developed this entire line of mounts to give that level of performance and response the stock mounts are sorely lacking.

The street density rubber is aimed at the driver who daily drives his car, wants that motor and tranny locked down, but doesn't want to hear about it in the cabin. The track density line is aimed at the uncompromising driver that demands the most from the chassis he's controlling. These will get you a bit more driveline noise and/or road noise(upper mounts).

Both series of mounts are solid rubber and in most cases have all the voids filled in. By then tweaking the density of the rubber we are still able to maintain a street-able mount that also greatly reduces the large movements of the drivetrain. What this equals is a crisper responding driveline that reacts 'as it should' to your right foot.

The strut mounts were also redesigned to eliminate the voids in the rubber and make them a single solid unit, also available in a street and track density. No more collapsing strut mounts, and available for pretty much the same money as the stock replacements! These are also available in street and track densities to fit your driving needs.

Does your B5/B6 motor mount could work (or retrofit) for the B4 V6 12V ?

Default Say WHA!?! Cupped strut washers don't take much abuse. No aftermarket source and even alum works...

is weaker/thinner/lighter than the steel it replaces, has a VAG part number and no reported issues at all. Granted I've seen tons of the plastic surround bezels crack and come off but the cupped washers are bullet-proof other than getting ugly over time due to corrosion.

This is the first aftermarket strut washer I've seen and I'm sure it's fine since it appears to be cadmium plated steel.

Methinks you're confusing this with something else.
