Hey everyone,
I just wanted to invite the entire Audiworld group to come join us on Oct 21st.
The WSCC will be having another autox on the Home Depot side of the Paslisades Mall in West Nyack, NYS that
day so we decided we'd go watch and then go cruising afterwards. The actual autox
starts at 9am if you wanna compete, but those of us not in the autox will be meeting at
12pm in the autox parking lot, and the cruise will be scheduled for 2:30pm. Last time we had 15 cars! It's
always a lot of fun.
FYI, we drive brisk, but safe. And we have cruise leaders to break up the group so no
one gets lost. Out of all the numerous cruises we've hosted, NO ONE has ever gotten
into an accident or gotten pulled over, and WE'D LIKE TO KEEP IT THAT WAY!!! We will
go over cruise rules and sign waiver forms before we begin. Basically, anyone found
driving wrecklessly, tailgaiting, or trying to pass other cars will be asked to leave. So far
everyone has cooperated, so this has never happened...we'd like to keep it this way
too! Also, while we are driving, should we see hikers on the side of the road or other
cars in front of us, we will slow down until the road is clear, and then we pick up the
pace again. I will explain all this later the day of the cruise.
So anyone who wants to come, say so now so we have an idea on who to expect!
BTW, please be ready to drive at a brisk pace, and bring a car that can handle the
twisties. The roads are very twisty, so you should make sure your car has decent tires,
suspension, brakes, etc. Car can be stock, but should be well maintained. We wouldn't
want anyone breaking down or causing an accident that could have been prevented,
that's all.
