I've got a 12 disc cd changer in my trunk and it doesn't work. The connections are stable, but the transmitter doesn't even turn on. I got it to work once, but not anymore. Anyone else have a 12 disc cd changer in their 90 audi or knows my problem?

i had a kenwood 10disc in my 90q... and the thing sucked it looked to be in great shape but it just wouldnt read cd's for nothing would keep skiping, idk if it needed to be cleaned or if it was from being mounted under the deck lid on teh trunk? kinda offtopid from your post but just another having probs with a CD changer, i think im going to just sell it , i already removed it out of hte car

I've removed mine as well, i think its the connection, but I don't like the fact that it plays CD's through a radio freguency. Thanks anyways.

I snatched the setup out of a passat, 6 disc changer and head unit. They are connected by cable, not frequecy. I used it in my 4000. Head unit snapped perfectly in place and the changer fit in the glove box with plenty of room lol.
