All I can tell you is snug.. Then 1/8 to 1/4 turn. As long as they're not finger tight or torqued down with a 3/4 inch breaker bar you're fine. Most cars you can't even get a torque wrench where you need it to clarify 15 pounds. 15 pounds on a 3/8 drive ratchet is snug. Just snug.

Default I felt like I tightened my plugs way too tight.

Should I untight and re-tight it at the right spec? or just leave it....

I have seen a post from somewhere where it broke the plug when he took it out and had to go through **** to remove it..it's a little worrisome...

If you can remove them and it's not a pain, do it. And use ANTISEIZE!! It's the best insurance policy, especially on aluminum heads where plugs mysteriously seem to "fuse" themselves into eternal place. I've never had to drill and retap any VW/Audi, but I did a Cavalier once and it sucked ***. I should have lit a rg and stuck it in the gas tank. LATERS,

Default Most spark plug makers recommend against the use of anti-seize.

It changes the heat flow properties between the head and the plug. I use a light coating of oil.
