I am currently looking for a cost effective engine rebuild kit that will also enhance performance. I plan to later add a turbo to the car. What are some suggestions that you guys have that would help me with this?

Its a dead end street.
Your only options in this approach is rebuild your 7A engine, then later add a "turbo" kit.

Its gonna cost you an arm an leg. And it will be still far from a real turbo application.

Your only logical option is, read. Then read more.
Then you will find out that you will still need a bigger walet, you have to collect few parts, then do engine swap.
Get a 3B or AAN engine, rebuild it (while its out), change the rods if you are aiming over 400HP, then later you can add/change manifolds/turbo/inj/etc
