So, I pulled my Carfax when I bought my car and I had 10 not at all scary records. I typed my vin into AutoCheck and came up with 18, but I already paid close to $30 for the Carfax so I donâ€TMt want to sink another $30 into another check. But there are 2x as many, which makes me worry.

The records are usually whenever the cars registration was renewed, it was registered with a new owner, underwent emissions testing, etc...

I just sold a Benz that killed in gas. I drive about 100 miles a day premium is too costly, yet if I let it sink the car will start getting very damaged.
I bought the car for a grand at an estate sale (last owner died of old age). Maybe I should sell it. KBB Private Party Value is $3285 and Retail Value is $5485 so say $4500 to start with a low of $3500. 350% return on investment is good stuff.
