Default Yup, when the B4s were introducted only the US/Canada knew them as 90s...

...80s for the rest of the world.

Default Code: 2143 Knock Sensor Control 2

Sounds like something I should take up with NJDOT, DelDOT and PennDOT.

Any one experienced with this code?

Default What kinda gas are you running? These cars require premium...

...or you have a bad knock sensor...

Default Carfax 10 and AutoCheck 18

So, I pulled my Carfax when I bought my car and I had 10 not at all scary records. I typed my vin into AutoCheck and came up with 18, but I already paid close to $30 for the Carfax so I donâ€TMt want to sink another $30 into another check. But there are 2x as many, which makes me worry.

Note the change of subject.

Default Regular, but the previous owner ran it at regular also, with occasional prophylactic premium.

There was only one owner before me.

Default What do carfax and autocheck have to do with your car having a supposed "European-spec" engine?

The records are usually whenever the cars registration was renewed, it was registered with a new owner, underwent emissions testing, etc...

Default There might be a divorce in order

I just sold a Benz that killed in gas. I drive about 100 miles a day premium is too costly, yet if I let it sink the car will start getting very damaged.

I bought the car for a grand at an estate sale (last owner died of old age). Maybe I should sell it. KBB Private Party Value is $3285 and Retail Value is $5485 so say $4500 to start with a low of $3500. 350% return on investment is good stuff.
