Hey guys,
I have a 1995 90 and the fan speed control for the manual temp control went out recently. I checked fuses but no luck, they were all good. Would the resistor for the speed control be out-where would this be located?
Recently did the heater core in Jan 2013 and everything was working up till a month ago. A/C should be working but the fan is not fast enough for me to tell
Any help would be appreciated!

The resistor can be found behind your glove box mounted in the airbox not too far from your blower motor.
One other thing you may have to check is the actual copper contacts on the HVAC control. I had dirty contacts before that kept the blower speeds from being selected.

But to finish this topic, I replaced the resistor, took out the blower motor and cleaned/tested it, still runs good. I then pulled my manual controls out and also cleaned the connections and put everything back together. The last thing to do was an a/c recharge because after running the system, the a/c was not cold enough. Now I can see my breath when I run my a/c for 10 mins. I am so glad I fixed this because we are getting multiple 90+ degree days!
