Default with electrics anythings possible. But since this affected all 4 windows and sunroof...

simultaneously yet not my exterior rearview mirror controls I had a pretty idea it was a relay issue. Bentley confirmed they're on the same circuit. Either all worked or all didnt simultaneously. Given this I knew of only one component that could affect all in such a manner.

Had one window not worked or worked erratically or the sunroof only stopped working I would've been forced to do some measure of chasing/diagnosing of the switches/leads before just cavalierly buying a window/sunroof relay. In this case, my failure was a "polite" one with manners, that was kind enough to provide me the answer, ie; just could not have been anything but the relay. Or it could have been 5 separate and independent switch failures simultaneously. Way too much of a long-shot!

Default That's a bummer

for me too, as in the new Coupe the same symptoms exist, likely I'll have to do the same.

Default Well, best method for troubleshooting this is to start at the motor and

trace the source back, since it only affect's one window it's could easily be the motor and/or switch with an intermittent issue.
