Default 205/55-15 or 205/65-15 tires on stock 15" wheels?

I have the stock 15" wheels and I am shopping for tires. I really whant to get the ContiExtremeContact, but there is no 205/60-15 size. Tirerack.com shows 195/65-15 as original equipment. With the 205/55 i am concerned that the car will be too low, and with the 205/65 I am afraid they will look like baloons

Any comments?

Default 205/60/15 is the stock quattro & FWD sport size, 195/65/15 is the stock "normal" size...

...for FWD.

Default If you have the 15x6 "Aero" wheels 195 is the better width, if you have 10-spoke or 5-spoke 15x7...

...wheels, go with the 205s.

Default To keep it stock, find another tire that comes in 205, or get the 195/65/15 version...

...I find it odd that Conti doesn't have a 205/60...

Default Tire Rack does have the Continental ContiTouringContact CH95 in a 205/60 & 195/65...

...or the Continental ContiTouringContact CV95 in a 195/65.

Although I've never gotten good wear life with any Continental tire...I like Firestone/Bridgestone/Fuzion though.

If he's so set on the Continental ContiExtremeContact get whichever is cheaper (either 205/55 or the 205/65)...but it's not an OE size........
